Lime, Coconut and Chocolate Cupcakes

Word on the street is that it’s been national cupcakes week this week! And when I say word on the street, what I really mean is a few hashtags on Instagram, but that’s enough to convince me to jump on the bandwagon!

Orange, Marzipan and Date Cake

So after my first ever review on my blog last week, I return to my attempts at concocting recipes in true form. Essentially, this means I run out of time and can’t do anything even nearly as ambitious as I would have liked it to be. This week I definitely faced the same issue, but this time I didn’t even have time to get any ingredients. So, after scouring the larder I have orange, marzipan and date cake and, I have to say, it’s pretty delicious.

Apologies again for the late blog post, but this week I am doing something a little different. You all know how much I love baking, but what some of you may also know is that I now have two new jobs! While I am really excited, this also means a lot more working and a lot less baking (for now anyway).

Raspberry and Rose Mini Rolls

For those of you who are as obsessed with baking as I am, you will probably know the bake off graced our screens again last week. In spite of it’s move to channel 4 (and that Sandi and Noel may have been trying a little too hard, sorry!) I was still watching avidly. To be extra original, I also thought I would try my hand at my version of the technical bake, mini rolls. And yet again I safely understand why I have not been chosen for the show!
